Hello all..
Yesterday i went to the yamaha dealer and bought a K & N filter for my 2002 Warrior(I got it for cost because some nimrod returned it after trying to stuff it in a Grizzly) I havent gotten to ride with the new filter yet but i was wondering if you guys think i should rejet the carb. The dealer said no but i got the feeling he knew nothing about quads.. Also.. If i modify the airbox lid (cut holes in it) should i rejet then?? Thanks in advance guys..

I don't pretend to have all the answers. I don't pretend to even know what the questions are. Hey, where am I?

I'd pick up a Dynojet kit and install it anyway. The new quads are coming jetted lean to keep the EPA guys happy. I Dynojet'ed my Raptor and even with a stock pipe it really woke it up. The kit also comes with jets to put in at a later date if you deceide to put a pipe on it. A DJ kit for a Warrior is around $30.
