Can anyone tell me how many years the Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4 Special Edition was made? I have a 97 and have never seen another one or seen any listing in a parts listing to say it was made more than one year.

Phil

Wasn't it a canadian version? I remember they had a Big Bear SE package in 97 and maybe 98 as well. It was just the 350 big bear motor in the old Kodiak 400 chassis and plastic. Had the same suspension travel of course too (which was like 4.3" on the kodiak and not impressive). But it looked better with the Kodaik styling. Had gold rims I think too.

Hi
This is probably old but I just got a big bear 350 SE 1998.
I'm new to ATV trade my 1985 1000 yamah virago for it.
I to can find no info on this SE stuff but think the added flaps
are part of the extra SE.
If you still have your SE can you email me a pic I can do the same.

look for the engine parts from a regular big bear 350 (old 348cc big bears) and the body parts from a regular kodiak 400 (old 386cc style kodiak, not the new 401 or larger quads)
