Guys/Gals,
My left side slide keeps sticking, and the last time it did, I wiped out and jacked up my axle and swingarm in the process. What would you recommend using to clean the slides? I was thinking some very fine sand paper, like 600 grit or something like that, but before i go tearing into it, I would like to know what you have used and what works, Thanks!!

My friend just takes some 2 stroke oil and puts some on his finger and wipes the slides real good while working the throttle, but its more of a "field fix" while riding than a long-term fix.........That's all I can tell ya about sticking slides.....Latah.....

RK, I know you got that twist throttle on there. If it has 2 cables split off from the one cable maybe there is something in the cable causing it to stick???

Hey, BTW, I'm passing through Phoenix on Monday Feb 4th. I have a 2 hour lay-over at the airport from 10:25 AM to 12:50 then the following Sunday Feb 10th from 1:20 PM to 3:45 PM. If you got some time you should swing by and have a beer with me.
