The pipes and silencers for PT and Fatboys are around $440.

The pipes and silencers for FMF Fattys and Q series Turbine Core is around $550-$600.

I am looking for a pipe that is more of a low to mid pipe. Where as the fattys are more of a mid/top pipe. Correct me if I am wrong.

I'm having the same problem, not sure what pipes to get! My local riding area is very strict about noise, I'll prouably go with fmf I did find some good deals at a place in Detroit called magic-racing they seem to have some good packages.

CFR - I am out of the Detroit area. We have NASTY rules about sound and epa rules here. So if I do get the fattys, I need to get the Q series silencers with SA's. IF I get the Paul Turners, I have to get the Q series Fat Boy silencers with SA's.

So either way I have to spend alittle more than usual.

The Bill's pipes are a nice all around pipe, there good from low-mid-high. they are also very strong throughout the powerband. but that just my .02.

When looking for low to mid range pipes, the FMF fattys wouldn't really be a good choice. If you want to stick with FMF go with the gnarly pipes. But as I stated before, LRD, Paul Turner, or the 2 into 1 pipes are your best bet. Plus these companies support atv racing, whereas FMF does not (to my knowledge anyway).

I just bought a 96banshee and I would have to say that I like the BIlls pipes that came with it. They do seem a little loud. But offer an increase in hp everywhere all over the powerband. From low to top.
