100 to 150 miles south I think I've never driven from one to another I've always come from Broken Arrow. Try a mapping program search it will tell you.

Hey I live in west Texas and we have some good dunes in Kermit, Texas. Not too big to have a ton of people but big enough to have a great time and not run out of sand. On an average weekend there may be aroun a couple hundred people. Lots of really nice people who are always willing to help if you need it. Just thought I would let you know about it. I'm guessing it would be around a 12-14 drive. See ya.

There is nowhere like glamis. Just an FYI there are several groups that somehow hire a semi to bring their toys to glamis. the driver shows up and the riders fly in to a local city, get a rentavan, and make a short drive to glamis. And play. then fly home. I dont know if anyone that does this is on the forums. but you could put out the word and see if anyone sees it.

thanks alot guys! hey ward660r, i returned your private message a while back. did you not get it? basically it said bring some friends and we'll all go. duneaholic, my girlfriends aunt lives out there in dallas. we were planning a trip this june or july. if i remember correctly kermit is several miles past dallas. i'll let you know when we are coming. bigjefe660, you are correct that would suck. if there are chicks there's a back up plan. zebratrailer, that would be sweeeeeet. my luck the semi would crash and burn or be stolen. well, that's what insurance is for. damn, what if the plane does the same. 95wolv, thanks for the heads up. thanks everybody. maybe i'll see some of ya'll soon.

Name your choice of trucking companies will haul ~18 quads, with specific PU and DEL schedules, for about a $1.10 a mile. This is a bargain compared to compared to driving time, and pickip truck costs to haul the same amount long haul.
