Wolverine51-I'm running 6 disks in and im runnin stock jet. Reason being is that i have a 95 and the 95's came with 36mm carbs while all the other years came with 34mm carbs. The stock jet in the 36mm was more then enough to adapt the IDS 2.

The 446 kit is a big bore with a stroker crank. Now seeing that the crank in the Warrior and the Wolverine are different, I don't see how you could swap them. The manual clutch kit that FST does takes about 5 lbs off the end of the crank!! That in it self would make a huge difference!!! But I have heard that they are hard to keep adjusted right, but maybe FST has worked that out by now. The other ways people have been doing the manual clutch thing really does not have the benifits of FST way. It may be just me, and I love my Wolverine, BUT I still can't see putting that much money into my quad, when I could sell it and buy a new Big bear or ?, new tires and a pipe for the same money. I mean, for 8 grand you could get just about any quad out there and still get a few parts for it. It is a neat idea to have a one of a kind Wolverine, but it might be impossible to ever get rid of. Just a thought.

I guess I just like wheelers that are different. If you have a Raptor for instance and line up against a 400ex or Banshee and beat them, well it is not really that big a deal as most people would expect those results.

When you take a tricked out Wolverine to the track and can smoke most stock machines except the raptors ect. That is something that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

With that said, I do not race all that much. In fact I mostly ride trails and muddy creeks. I guess I like overkill as long as reliablility is not sacraficed.

A 446 or 500 Wolverine is truly unique , as evidence by the very few responses to this thread, and that is what makes them so special.

As far as resale- My Wolverine is part of my family now and one of the kids is more likely to go than my machine!
