What to do when no heel guards?
#1
Has anyone taken their heel guards completely off? If so, what do you do about stablizing the fenders and the little bottle and bottle cover, I know the poor little bottle has a name but I am not that mechanically inclined, where it attaches to the OEM heel guard. I just had my pegs, foot brake and shifter all chromed and I like the look without the heel guards. Anyones experience would be helpful.

That little bottle is the rear brake fluid resivor. Put the GYT-R heel gaurds on, they are polished aluminum & look sharp and if for some reason your foot slips off the peg you'll still have skin on the back of your unbroken leg.

Come on guys! I know someone out there is running without heel guards. Their are plenty of Banshee's and 250r's running without any type of heel guards. As long as you have a pretty good pair of boots you should be alright. I just need to know how to support the fenders and brake resevoir. Thanks
