What is the correct # of links to buy with a 2" extended swingarm on a blaster?

umm im no math wizard, but in order to figure this out properly, you would also have to know the sprocket size. For instance a 13/34 gearing would require less chain than say a 14/40 gearing. If you already have a plus two swing arm on there i would just wrap a string around your two sprockets, measure out a link, and divide.

I would say a starting point would be, add about 5 inches of chain on to stock chain length, Ill bet you would be close. Sorry i couldnt be of more help. Anyone know a formula?

Hmmm, mathmatically sounds like you'll need to find the change in r length for top & bottom of chain where:
r^2 = x^2 + y^2 then measure the length of a link, then divide 2r by link length = # of new links.

The string method sounds much easier huhh, LOL.
