I need someone to give me their opinion on aftermerket carbs for the raptor. I have made a few engine mods to my 660, race cam, hi-comp. piston, port/polish, E-series, advance timing, lighter flywheel, but the power just is not enough for me. I would like to add carbs, but only if I will see a significance difference. I have not seen anyone riding with aftermarket carbs. What type of gains should I expect to see? What else would I need to add with the carbs? What would be the preferred type/size carbs to add??
Thanks.

I've heard the FCR's make a huge difference, like almost as much as porting and a cam. I'll know first hand soon

It STILL doesn't have enough power for you??? Sheesh, whadaya want dude? Sounds like you needed to buy a built-to-the-hilt Banshee instead! (then you could spend three times as much money on repairing it every time it grenaded on you) I don't think that even the carbs are going to give you what you think you want. Good luck anyway.

Why would you trade down for a banshee? Are you high? Your raptor motor is a piece of art! A banshee is a recycled pop can!

I was kidding Raptor18, I owned 2 banshees and don't wanna go back. How have you done with the motorcross racing? I have not seen many on the tracks here. Thanks.

Trinity racing is as advertising a 725cc kit, they're talking like 70+hp, that ought to be enough speed to peel the paint off of your helmet. Heard about the Edel Broks $$$; haven't heard any results though.
Raptor18, how did you mod your suspension for mx. Mine is hard to corner, I took it to a track for about four hrs. The next morning I felt like someone had kicked my a$$ for about four hrs.
