400 ex's are by far the more superior machine compared to the banshee. I will agree that the raptor will beat the 400 ex readily. The raptor has much more power than the 400 ex and way more power than the banshee. Anyone who buys a 400 ex over a banshee is not only the smarter buyer, he is the more aggressive individual who wants to be the king of the quads!

I have seen the light. I have decided to sell my Banshee and buy a Honda 90 Fourtrx. Its a Honda so it must be fast. I think with the right kind of mods I may be able to hit 20mph.

I've heard the 250ex has more hp than the 250R. I would buy one of those before the 90, although the 90 is supposed to be better at duning than the 250ex. I'd buy a 250ex myself, great mx'er, and they flat out roost banshees and raptors.

Thanks for the advice. I had a 250r but it was too slow and traded it in for a 70 honda three wheeler....thing was quick...great hill climber....would wheelie in all 5 gears.

there is only one way to find out! as you can see everybody has an opinion, but again to make it simple banshee quick, 400 ex, fast, what makes the difference is length of the drag race..... just like i said my 2 cents worth, same person an eacr machine and time the race to find out, have fun

Its all in good fun. Every 4-wheeler has a certain type of people that it appeals to. There are a certain type of person who likes a big 4x4... a certain type of person who likes a fast 4 stroke. I just happpen to be one who loves a screamin 2 stroke.

screamin bleamin, 2-strokes are obsolete, the true power is in a honda 400ex. the length of the race doesnt matter, the 400 ex would destroy the banshee no matter the type of race. Its just comes down to the simple fact that there are only two 4-wheelers worth buying in the market today, the 400ex and a 2000 yamaha grizzly. Those are by far the best 4-wheelers marketed with no exception. If you want to come up to Indiana sometime kybanshee and race you just give me a call. Till then, nothing beats an ex.

P.S. Id say a 300ex would beat a banshee
