My 98 warrior needs some upgrading and I was wanting some input on performane upgrades. I was wanting to rebuild top end with a bigger piston and cam, What's your suggestions on cams and bore size? A- arms, how many of ya'll have aftermarket and did you go wider?White Bros. offer a 36mm carb kit w/twist throttle but is worth it.As it stands now all it has is a pro flo intake, uni filter, k&n jet kit. Whats your take on WB torque stuffer? Does it affect top end? I know its alot of question but any advise or replies are much appreciated.
Some might say why not buy something else like a raptor but I love this little machine for trailriding/Woods. One more Question, Does any one offer an enlarged gas tank? Again Thanks for any info.
Great People.... Great site!

First I would suggest exhaust, pro design filter system,14-15t front sprocket, maxxis razrs all around w/ douglas rims. That is what I have on mine and I give the 400ex's owners a good run for their money. If that aint enough put a 416 kit on it. Also about your a-arm question, only reason i dont have wider ones is b/c I dont need them. I just put 20x11x10 razrs on the back and i was suprised how much it "tubbed" out the rear. I am pretty sure that ims has a larger gas tank for the warrior.

You should go ride with us sometime. You aren't that far away from where we generally all are. We go to Lake Murray in Oklahoma, Rocky Ridge, Bulcher and such.

Sounds good, I ride out at Eddy Belfour's pond. Yes Eddy Belfour former dallas stars golie is building a pond in podunk Van Alstyne. It is going to be 40 acres of nothing but pond. We have a track out there that i ride if the stupid people down the road dont call the cops. I usually ride in the red river bed and have been to rocky ridge once but it was too muddy.

Here's what the guy that built my banshee recommended to a friend of mine with a warrior.

WEb Cam products:$105
80-161 overall power increase
80-171 mid and top end power

Web valve spring kit:$70
VC-Y30 Titanium spring kit

A good pipe and filter kit help too. If you can do most of the work you can save some money. Oh yeah and a .20 over piston. It's not a lot but it's the next best thing to going with a big bore kit of some kind and dropping well over a $1000 just for that part of it.
