I ordered the Roll design on Friday. It was spendy at $120+ (dont remember exact) but I figured steel was going to be more durable than the aluminum units I have heard are in the works. The Roll design shifter eliminates the linkage. I'll post on how it is when I receive it. They were saying it was going to take a couple days to get one in and they would ship as soon as it got there. I suppose this means they are made by an outside vendor.

For a picture check out the April 2002 Dirt Wheels magazine. Roll Design has a 17 page "mini-catalog" towards the middle of the magazine with a lot of cool products, including the stainless linkageless shift lever. They also have a matching stainless brake lever that relocates the lever over the top of the footpeg. They list their web site as www.rolldesign.com, but when I try it it brings up a blank page.

The April issue also has a ITP "mini-catalog" also towards the back ofthe issue.

Hey VMAX12. I've got the GYT-R check out my pics below and then under Motor Assembly and the pic Billet.jpg. I will probably be selling mine to get the Roll Design unit in the near future. The GYT-R is a great improvement over stock especially with MX boots, but the elimination of the linkage would be much better.

Whitebros have the Roll Design shifter on their website http://www.whitebros.com/Completesec...TVAccess24.pdf goto page two. Mr45Auto, they list it for $79.95, either they raised the price or you got taken?

You know, I think she may have quoted me the price on the brake lever. I was ordering it direct from roll design at the number printed in the mini catalog in dirtwheels. I'm going to call them in the morning and make sure they are sending me the right part. If it's the $120+ and actually the shifter I'm going to cancel the order and get it from whitebros. Thanks for the info, on that you may have saved me some cash.

The linkage is adjustable so all of the up and down play can be eliminated. Also, you could lower the shifter slightly by moving the mount on the shaft.
