Grizzly 660 Suspension Adj. ?
#1
What suspension adjustments do you guys run on the 660. I have my shocks in the middle of the range. They came backed off all the way and was horrible. Does anyone run them cranked all the way down? I also heard some people take out the sway bar. Why is this and what are the ups/downs? thanks for da imfo....

I have mine on the stiffest setting, but I always like the suspension more on the stiffer side. If you like to do more sport riding, jumping in particular then set them to the stiffest setting. I would not take the sway bar off unless you are going to do some extreme terrain riding such as rock climbing. With the sway bar off, the bike will not be as stable at high speed turns.

I run them at the 4rth (next to stiffest) setting. I run without the sway bar, though its on right now. I just had to find an upside to leaving it on, and I'm taking it back off soon. As far as corners, I can't see much difference other than the suspension squatting a bit more in the rear with it off. With it on, it wants to come up on two wheels more and feels easier to flip over. With it off, the suspension will compress more in the rear. I think its worthless myself. Didn't feel like it helped to me going fast around curves on the dirt road, and I almost flipped it the other day in a hard corner in the woods. This was with the bar on and the stock tires.
If you want to see some articulation pictures, look at my website. I did a comparison with and without the bar.
