does any one know why yam has changed the sub frame on the raptor from the 01 square frame
02 has a round frame why is this

 

The 01 sub frame was aluminum & the 02 is steel, they said it's for added durability but I've never heard of any of my friends having problems on thiers. I would guess it would hold up better in a crash though.
As far as why it's now round instead of square some aluminum can't be bent so they welded up a stronger square tubing instead of bending up a softer aluminum.
