yes, i agree with the smoking crack comment, but when your the only cannondale dealer in a tri-state area you can charge just about what ever you want. and people are buying them here fist over fist. Crazy huh!

The Suzuki is gonna mop up on a Raptor. Anybody can sink dollars into a quad and say it's the fastest. Take a 720 or 686 to a track and watch 440ex's destroy them. Why, handleing.... The Raptor will never handle like a Honda. The Suzuki should have Honda handleing and Raptor power. The combonation of both is whats gonna make this quad rock. I wouldn't be surprised if it can take an FX on a track. Can't compare them to the Moto since it will run almost 5k more then the Z-400. Put 5k into a Z-400 and Moto's aren't the clear cut leaders anymore... I've been informed that the Z-400 holeshots Raptors. You'll read about it soon......Real h.p. and high rpm is needed to climb Utah's Sand Mtn and Fx's simply smoke Ds's and Raptors, no ands, if's, or butts about it.

i don't see why you would buy a raptor. if you want a racing quad get a cannibal, and if you want a drag racing quad get a banshee. a tricked out banshee will eat any raptor.

Some people like 4 strokes. Personally, Cannondale is the only one I would really want, maybe a DS if it weren't so heavy.

The Suzuki won't live up to the hype anymore than the Raptor did. Remember when the Raptor first came out? They said it would outperform the DS650 just as much as the DS650 outperformed the 400EX....Right!!!! No japanese quad that ever used an adapted motorcycle engine ever comes in the same state of tune. They have always been somewhat detuned to deliver the kind of power better suited for the different application. The Z400 will most likely come in the same approximate tune as the dual-sport engine; (or less) in other words, not as powerful as the full blown dirt bike. Don't get me wrong, I think it will be a nice machine, but probably will neither quite run with the Raptor or the Cannondale for that matter. Oh, and be ready for some of the same first-year bugs that the Raptor suffered as well, too. I'm glad Suzuki is getting back in the hi-performance game again, but I'll still take a Raptor over it. Bring on the comparisons! I can hardly wait. Nuff said.
