i have a 2001 blaster. I get my parts from trenga racing and recently they carry a 240cc kit from ct racing. ct claims that with this kit which includes a pipe and 36 pwk carb new head and cylinder with intake made like a cr250 and 250 reed cage and piston and rings that they are getting 40.7 hp. this seems like a pretty good number to me for a blaster so is ct a reputable company to buy this kit from. also with 40 hp on a two stroke what would this compare to on a fourstroke. i know raptors put out 33 or so hp stock so would i be able to run with one and how about a banshee. i need to decide what to buy so any help would be great. thanks

Those things weigh like double the stock cylinder and head.

Banshees have around 32-33 rwhp stock...Raptors have about 36 rwhp... And DS 650 have about 40-42 rwhp... With 40 hp on a little blaster you would beat all of them by a good margin as long as you re-gear it.
