well said 660intx. I ride my blaster through anything. I could give two sh*ts about mudd. Actually i think its fun to get muddy and have sh*t flying everywhere. But mabye its cuz im still young.( didnt mean that as an insult) I wash it once in a while. Usually i dont even wash my helmet or gloves cuz whats the difference when ur just gonna go do it again. Mudd is gods way of saying sorry for the sh*tty winter and not letting me snowmobile. lol

Well if he is riding a big red three wheeler and it's in pretty much perfect condition it's probably because he takes the long way around to avoid the mud and water.
I admire him for being able to take the long way around to take care of his trike because it is one thing I haven't been able to do.
His three wheeler is atleast 15 years old and if he keeps taking care of it the way he does now it will last him another 15 years.
I bet your quad won't last 15 years let alone 30!

100% true. But I'm not a collector, I'm a user. I buy my toys to play with them, I have no delusion about them lasting hehe.
I've already crashed the Raptor 3 times, and I have some road rash to prove it. I still enjoy every second I ride it, and as I get more confident in my ability to not crash it any more I'll start replacing parts so it looks 100% pretty again too hehe.
But collecting? Nah... I respect it, I just don't follow it. Besides, in 15 years they'll have hover-ATVs making 150 hp and I'll be all about buying one hehehe.
Edit: And yes, I paid for my Raptor with 100% my money and all the repairs and maintenance come out of my pocket. So don't think I'm abusing it because I don't respect the investment, I just want my fun for my money and so far it's paying back 100 fold.

Lol, right before I read this post I was reading about how spraying pam on you plastic and wheel wells, will really keep some mud off, then the rest will fall right off when you get it wet.
As far as pressure washing goes, I use one and I just put it on a weak setting so my decals dont get torn off. What damage could it do on this weak spray?

I also use a powerwasher on mine, but only the body. The motor I only spray on a wide setting so it isn't hitting it with much pressure. Besides, the motor is hardly ever dirty it's my fenders and footpegs that carry 40 lbs of mud home hehe.

I look at it this way, My Banshee is my first dependable sport quad and I beat the heck out of it. I figure I will be learing on this one, and the next quad I get I will try to take better care of. Not that I dont wash and maintain my banhsee, but Im just not that worried about breaking plastic and whatnot. Especially in the sand at Walden. Your either a Hero or a Zero in May. I may flip backwards, quad rolls down the hill, but she starts right back up and im trying to conquer again. When you have a hundred people gathered around the top of the hill watching 5-6 people trying to climb outta the creekbed(other wise known as Deadmans) its a rush!!!
