Alright guys, seeing as Yamaha has a $50 a month on a new quad, I can afford that(just hoping everything goes through!) and even after the deals up I can still afford either machine(I hope). The only reason I am considering the Raptor is suspension, I don't know if I can get some aftermarket suspension if I got a Banshee and I'll mainly be racing MX and "play racing" so my question is, if everything goes through which should I get? I don't really like 4 strokes, and I don't need reverse or electric start, but the suspension is supposed to be better on the Raptor, and thats a real deciding factor. Handling doesn't matter since I'll be going from an ATC250r to a quad. If you were me, what would you get?

Either one stock is really not that great for mxing, at least competatively, but I would say the raptor would be better than the banshee in mx.

One thing you may want to consider is the tracks that you will be racing on. If the track is big and more wide open the banshee or raptor is an excellent choice. Banshees are great for larger tracks, you can use more of its power and open it up. For really small tracks, which are tight, the 4-stroke motor of the Raptor will probably give you the better bottom end power that you will need to win.

$50 a month for a new quad...

They did tell you that it's only $49.95 @ 3.99% interest until 01/03 and then your paying 17.9% Interest and 2.57% of the balance until it's paid off...

Just thought you might like to know that, if you didn't... I was all for $50 a month until i heard 17.9%.. I think I'm going to run to the bank and get some 7.6% interest... Loans are cheap these days...

I know, I read the fine print. OK, so lets say I got a loan instead of using the Yamaha card, what would my monthly payment be on say... $7500 with 10% interest?

If I am not mistaken he said monthly payment. I think that 750 is a little high. Over 3 years at 10% it would be aruond 230, at 4 years it would be about 170. These are just rough estimates but probably close.

Or, if your credit is good, get the deal on the Yamaha card and then balance transfer it. That's what I did... waited a few months while it was still low interest ($1/day so $30/mo or so) and am right now in the process of transfering it to a card with a 2.9% interest on balance transfers (that lasts until the balance is paid in full). Gotta like that.
