2002 Raptor
#2
I bought my '02 raptor in October and I have a very serious problem with it. Not enough money for aftermarket parts . Please PM me for info on where to mail the donations. Thank you ALL very much!
I have not had any problems other than that with mine. Reverse is a little bit funky, geared a little to high, and I indented my upper left a-arm a little because my dumb a$$ ran into a tree. BTW I beat the thing like a red headed step child.

I bought mine in Jan '02 and haven't had any problems with it. I also ride it like a dumbass and abuse the heck out of it. Reverse is a bit weird, have to make sure it's engaged fully, getting it moving again if you stall it on a hill/incline is a nightmare, and locking it up into a 4 wheel slide = high-side but no mechanical problems. All my problems are rider-related hehehe. I've indo'd mine, back flipped it, and barrel rolled it. Cost $100 to replace the bent steering shaft from the barrel roll. Grr.
If you buy one make sure to buy a gyt-r swing arm plate. The stock 1/4 inch thick plastic is less than useless, hitting not only the chain but the brake and creating a nice pocket for mud to accumulate in (if you're lucky) and rocks/roots to catch (if you're not lucky).
