blaster head gasket leaks!!

i receantly rebuilt my blaster 20 over wiesco piston and about a day after i rebuilt it it blew the head gsket now i can hear it pop alot if i put a new gasket in what tightening pattern should i use

Cross pattern. I'm not a mechanic, but my local service department told me to re-torque the bolts after 10 hours. So I assume thats how they did it initially. That old blaster is still going strong.

i did tthat and retightened te next day but it still blew it is there a better gasket out there
