Help cutting Raptor fenders

i'm ready to buy a second set of plastics for my Raptor and thought i would experiment cutting the used fenders. any tips on cutting the plastic? Tools to use? does/don'ts?

The best tool I have ever used is a Dremmel tool with a cut off wheel. After you get done cutting you can buy one of their polishing or sanding kits to take care of the edges.
