Whats the top speed on these stock quads?

Don't buyy from Alba, they scam you bad. They say "pipes, blah blah blah, all for MSRP" then they write in fine print, plus freight, set-up, license and doc. fees, and however much time it takes for them to put the extra's on it. I don't know about a Warrior, but by the time you get out of there with a Banshee your around $7000. Don't waste your time witht he Warrior, go for the 400EX. The Blaster has a "peppy" motor but if you are over 5 feet tall, it's too cramped, IMHO. I thought it handled like crap too, because of the small size and I'm pretty big. Don't base everything on top speed. If you want to go fast, get an older 'Shee and mod the hell out of it.

yea stock warrior is $4999, then they say 300 for labor, and another 600 for shipping!!! thats 900 already extra, then if u want extra accesories on it that rnt included in the contract, you have to pay more for that to.... iu guess i wont buy from them after all., im looking at the 400EX now, and getting factory effex graphics for it. so the ex is like 5699 or suming plus graphics which is 140 . not to shabby. i mihgt get mods for it later . do yall know anyplace arpound houston texas that sales hondas for cheap? to bad the ex doesnt have reverse. o well .

I agree, don't get the Warrior.....My cousin has an '02 and it isn't any more high-tech than my 87 Quadracer. The suspension sucks, seat isn't comfy, the big balloon tires look retarded, head light bulbs always rattle loose, and my old '01 Polaris Trailblazer could wax it through the mud and nitty-gritty........I've put a .440 lift (I think) Web cam, Supertrapp slip-on w/ 15 discs, opened up the airbox, and had the cylinder bored .020 over for him.....he paid for the parts, I did all the work (not to mechanically-inclined) and it made a big difference in performance and speed, but a stock EX can and will and did beat it drag racing, not to mention the handling of the EX absolutely embarrasses the Warrior on track or trail........so save your money, and get an EX.....I have yet to see a place where reverse was so important I would give up my Zilla for a Warrior or Raptor for the reverse feature.........And seriously, if you can do donuts or throw a guad sideways on a corner, you can turn around in a tight spot...just practice in an open area first, just in case your quad gets away from ya........Latah

400ex 68mph
Warrior 62mph
300ex 60mph
Blaster 57mph
Mojave 55mph
Lakota 50mph
First off, a Blaster is not faster than a 300ex. I have owned both machines and raced both of them. The Blaster is quicker off of the line, but top-end wise, the 300ex is faster. I wouldn't doubt that I piped Blaster could take a stock 300ex any day though.
Secondly, as for the which would wheelie better between the 400ex and the Warrior? The 400ex is by far the wheelie king when it comes down to it. The 400ex is more low-end torgue and weighs less then the Warrior. I am sure the the Warrior can wheelie, but you would have to use the clutch to get it up just like the 300ex. The 400ex however, doesn't need and clutch action at all to wheelie.

Yamaha Warrior 62-63
Yamaha Blaster 56
Honda 400EX 67
Honda 300EX 59-60
Kawasaki Mojave 59-60
Kawasaki Lakota 55
I would stick with either a 400EX,300EX or Warrior.Whats your Height and Weight.
The 300EX is Faster then the Blaster in top-end speed, but the blaster is faster off the line. A modded Blaster could easily tear apart a stock 300EX.If the 300EX is modded to then the 300ex would win,but the Alba Warrior should come ontop of both. I dont think you would want to buy the Alba Warrior. Instead if you really wanted a Warrior, buy it and make mods.A Honda 300EX or 400EX Is easier to wheelie due to their weight advantage.A Warrior you shouldnt have to work to hard to wheelie though. Well good Luck and hope to see you with the quad that you want.
