In the mid to late eighties, a few companies were building and selling front ends that could be welded or bolted onto the front of a 3 wheeler to turn it into a quad. Astro was one of them, and I actually had a 1985 Tri-z with the bolt on version. It was made by 3+4 or some company by a similiar name. The bolt on version was junk, but the weld-on looked factory (I studied a '85 250R with one, and it looked good), with good brakes and such. The plastic flowed into the 3 wheeler plastic too.

The reason I care:

I found a SUPER clean Tri-Z, for $500. I loved the Tri-Z before, but traded it for a motorcycle. So I'm looking for one of the weld on front ends for it, giving me a good quad for less than 2K (I hope).

Does ANYONE know if these kits are still available from ANYBODY?

Thanks!
