I would like to know if anybody makes a igntion system like msd or dyna for the rap.Would like to change to a better coil at least.Has anybody had trouble with the coil?Just installed a 11:1je 686cc,web 686/697cam with heavy duty springs, been playing with the jetting dyno jet needles and springs 144/150,142/144 still to rich cutting out at full throttle, went back to stock needles 150/160mains alot better but still cuts out full throttle, thinking the coil is not supplying the kv to fire with the high comp piston and cam,ran into this problem with hotrods in the past, installed a msd igntion, rejetted no more problem.Any help would be appreciated.

wheelyking,
I just did a 11:1 piston in a Raptor and had to go up to 170/175 before it would run at full throttle. It did the the same as you are describing with 155/160 jets in it. These are stock jets not dyno jet jets. sounds like your at sea level as I am too, give the bigger jets a try. We ended up with 180/185 with no lid and a pro design filter setup at about 40-50 deg. temp. Hope this helps.
