By chance does anyone know where I might be able to find fender extensions for the new model kodiaks? With wider tires the mud can really build up on the running boards by just going down a wet gravel road and not even get near a real mud hole.

I was thinking of getting some automotive flexiable rubber fender extensions and attached them.

Any ideas that anyone may have or even done for themselves??

These are the product # for the overfenders...Your dealer should be able to order them for you.

You can view them on the Canadian site http://www.yamaha-motor.ca/english/

Now these are Canadian product #'s. I know that some have ordered them from their dealers in the US. But I'm not sure if they got them from Canada. I'm sure your dealer would be able to pick up a set. I also heard that they will be available in the USA, in June.

I don't know if $165.00 is worth it. I was thinking about putting on some 3" rubber fender extensions that I saw in JC Whitney catalog. They have then in stock in Canada.

Thats $165 Cdn, isn't it? Thats about $100 US. Not a bad price.I'm getting them for my Y2K, picking up my Gators Thursday. They just called me & told me they were in. Gotta travel 1 & 1/2 hours to get them. But got them for a good price.

Mac, there is a set that I found in the atv supply catalog, they are made by Moose. It does not say that they are made just for the Kodiac, it just asks you to call for application. Checkout there website, WWW.atvsupply.com

Don't buy them from them....you'll be getting ripped. There are others from the US who paid only $90 (app US). The price they quoted you is about what I paid for mine...in Canadian funds. I'll see if I can find where these guys bought theirs...then get back to you.
