I have a few question for the ones that have had it done to there raptors. First question is do you send the whole motor to them or do you tear it down yourself? How reliable is the motor for woods racing? We often go to St. Joes to ride and Little Sahara in OK. Should i do anything as far as beefing up the clutch and transmission? Any help would be thanked.

Zilladaddy- that was inteligent for you 19th post. I hope the other 18 were better. Care to expand on those thoughts. Quite a few guys on here feel a lot different.

FM72Nova- i have not beefed up my clutch yet. It already had 14 months on it, before the 686. Heavier clutch springs will be needed. I plan on putting in a new clutch in the next 2 weeks. Figured if i am going to put the springs in, might as well do the whole thing. I just sent trinity the parts that are worked on. Great company to deal with.

YUP as far as trinity sucking yup I will they screwed up a motor of my ex's for one.....said they could put a 350 kit in an lt 250r motor....when we got it back the darn thing leaked from the water jacket into the cylider causing it to hydralic seize...we then sent it to Vito's Performane and he fixed it, boy wuz it messed up too....the top of the cylider looked like it was sanded with a belt sander, the head looked the same.....alway's good when the surface's need to be flat for a seal....they lathed off the bottom of the jug ,almost a quarter of an inch, and to top it off the darn thing only was a 295cc not a 350cc....So yeah I will elaberate....... Oh and where do you find base gasket's that thick????FOR christ sake's the piston was in backward's.....It took us to gp to the attorney general's office to get harry to pay for his screw up.....So yeah I'll elaberate......

ZillaDaddy409,

So, it was a belt sander, backwards piston and the Attorney General's office was it?? I don't want to be the one to call B.S. but this is clearly a case where you need to put up or shut up.

Please provide your invoice number, date of service, etc. I will call Trinity to see if your story is true. By the way, since you claim that the AG's office was involved, why don't you also tell us their "pubilc record" case number and any other contact information? Perhaps you can also have your friend of five years, Vito, make a post about your claim.

I will post a response that will either prove you correct or prove you to be a liar. Either way, the truth will be told.
