Shoesmb, Go with the 02' raptor just for the simple piece of mind. Yamaha fixed the quirks that they had with the 01' such as axle, tranny and other minor stuff. You will absolutely love it, just like the rest of these readers. Hell, I love my 02' raptor more than the wife!!! Ha, Ha

Hey guys thanks for all the advice I went ahead and bit the bullet and got a 02, and I got a pretty good deal I found a Black limited edition O2, for $5995..sweeeet!
