One of my buddys has a 02 raptor. When we are trailriding he has a lot of trouble with his tires spinning out on hills and the sort. But he has rode a utility quad most of his life. He has only rode sport quads for a year, so that might be the prob. Just though i would give my 2 cents

good riding, briggz

Not if you don't put an after market pipe on it. The tires spin because it has power to spare. Thats a good thing. Spinning tires. My Holeshots hook up well. I would reccomend them.

the raptor was designed by yamaha for the woods
its only 44 inches wide and also has reverse
its very low maintenence(change the oil every other ride and keep the air filter
clean)
bone stock its a blast to ride on and it has the ability to go extremly fast
or putt around on depending on your skill level and who your riding buddys are.
