Are these pipes any good?

Hey Guys,
Some of you may have read a previous post of mine asking about Banshee pipes.
Anyway whether you did or didn't, I found out what the ones I was looking at are. On the pipe they say FMF Gold Series, and then they have like a Signature after that engraved into the pipe. I can't make out what the name is though.
Well the pipes are in pretty good shape, but the finish isn't so hot...I can live with that though. There are a few small dents, but nothing big except for one section that looks like it has some weld or something on it. I'm sure it doesn't help things, but I don't imagine it would hurt too much because the pipe seems to be pretty much the same shape as the other one in that section.
Anyway, the guy told me I could have them for $50, then I told him $40, and he agreed to $45. Do you think that it is worth it? As long as they don't HURT top end I can deal with them. I'm mainly looking for low end - midrange increase though.
Please tell me anything you can about this because it's all pretty foreign to me.
Thanks for the opinions.

If you are still running the stock pipes right now, I say go for it.
45.00 is not bad at all for performance, even if it doesn't look good. A dent in a two stroke pipe will cause a loss of power on any brand pipe. As long as it has been repaired, I don't see a problem.

Thanks KNOWSALOT...do you have any info on the pipes, or know of a website where I can find some. Like I said, they say "FMF Gold Series" and they have some sort of signature next to that...I cannot make out the name.
Thanks.
