I found a 1999 wolverine (blue) for sale.
Supposedly completely stock.
The asking price is $4,500. I'm going to take it for a ride and look it over tonight.
I'm just curious if any of you might advise me on some specific things to look for, and if you think that the price is fair.

I had planned on buying a new one when my tax return came in, but when I found this one I started thinking about all the upgrades I could buy with the $1000 I saved from buying a used one.

go for it! its a goot deal. i bought min for 5600.

 

I paid $4800 for mine and it came with a 3 yr warranty. It was used, but the hairs were still on the nobbies.

Sounds like a winner to me, Go for it.

 

I went and looked at it last night.
Very disappointed. It looked like it had a pretty rough 1st year. (bent rims, surface rust on frame,scratches, dents, etc..)
I've decided to hold off until I can afford a new one, so I don't have to worry if the previous owner kept up n oil changes, performed proper break-in, etc...

I do appreciate your views though,
