KNOWSALOT,

Had a chance to check on the Kodiak today. The spring that pushed the plunger back into place was in two pieces and one part of it was severely mangled. I checked on ordering a new one but it is part of a kit including the plunger, the end plug, etc. All told it was $21. I don't want to pay $21 for essentially a spring. I would like to pick one up at the auto part store. Any idea how long the spring is supposed to be? If not, I will play around until I find one that does the job.

Must be getting shy. Shy or busy! I can't think of many other members as helpful or knowledgeable as KNOWSALOT. There might be a hand full of members on his level.
