I recently purchased 9 acres of wooded hills to build (and play) on. I find that I'm doing more work than play with my atv and it isn't really up to the task. I can sell it for a decent price but I will be limited on what I can spend. I have narrowed it down to the Big Bear or Eiger. I still want to be able to trail ride comfortably as well as work. Which is best and why? Thanks for any opinions!

i have an '02 bigbear 4x4, love it. it works well and is a blast to play, on the other hand my neighbor just traded his '01 big bear 4x4 in , for a vinson 500. both aer qualityu quads, ride them if poss. for me ive never owned any suzuki's, only honda and yamaha. id get the bear but get 4wd its worth the extra $$$$$$

i was looking into a big bear 2x4 because i wanted a utilty that could work and play. i eventually bought a warrior and put a rear rack on it.
but any ways, i would also go with the big bear because they can do a lot of work and can play good as well. as for suzuki, i'm not really sure about that body style, it looks kinda weird (to me).

looks wierd yup! but the 02 bigbear 4x4 is 4wd on command so i go in and out of 2wd and 4wd!!! most of all 4x4's are like that....thats where the fun is, so when the 2wd isnt enough, just push the magic button!! just something to think about

Can't beat the Big Bear as it has been a proven unit for years and is hard to beat for work and it is cool for play as well. My brother has a new 02 Big Bear with the 2wd/4wd setup and loves it. You can also get alot more aftermarket parts as well since it has been out alot longer.

The new Eiger is a nice machine and time will tell if it will stay in the Suzuki lineup. It is more than likely a faster machine and has a little bit more suspension travel.
