im looking at buying a new quad mostly for trail riding and big open fields. how does the raptor perform in these areas? also does anyone have any experience with the ct pipe? i recently went to some indoor motocross and there were quite a few raptors there.a couple of them had some extremely loud pipes that from 20 feet away made your ears hurt and pounded your chest pretty good. is the ct pipe this loud.sound isnt a problem since i ride on private land. i like the sound of a huge thumper that pounds your chest.the louder the better for me.and with a ct pipe and a new cam, valve springs, and maybe some porting how much of a differnece over stock would this be. i rode a stock raptor and the front end is pretty easy to get up so how much will these mods improve performance. sorry about the length but i just want to be sure of what i buy before i spend 6500. thanks

hey..i had the ct sonic before my accident and it was the best pipe i owned...to bad i lost it bu it did excelient in open fields and on the track. in my opinion yhe loudest pipe i've seen was the white bros. e-series i have that pipe now and with 28 discs it was very loud. the mods you listed were impressive but if its not geared down for more to end that would be the next thing i would do...some people dont but i dont like not getting a good start and pulling a wheelie on the line.
hope this can help with your decesion
