Who has a new Big Bear and how well do you like them. I am thinking of buying one and was wandering what some problems were with them if any. Thanks.

The only real problem I can think of is that they are geared low. It is not a problem unless you think it will be a super fast machine. My brothers 02 is very nice fun machine. He rides mainly trails with it and loves the 2wd/4wd setup and the price was in his range. He got alot of bang for his dollar.

You might want to get better tires down the road. I have Maxxis Altracs in 25" and highly recommend them. My brother is getting some after trying my Wolverine with them on. They will ride alot better. You will have more stability and they have alot stiffer sidewalls so they perform alot better.

Bro-in-law just bought 02 big bear. He love it. The gearing on it is really low... good for work. AND his came with stock Maxxis tires on it. I dont know if Yamaha is switching brands, but it sure is better than the dunflops. (personal opinion).

Had mine since October and like everything but the forementioned LOW gearing. It seems like they could've spread out the last couple or done a high/low.
