Hey everyone! I think I found an awesome deal on a 2001 660 Raptor. I know the guy who owned it and he's taken pretty good care of it. Recently he wrecked it and it threw him off and he had a really bad road burn and now he's scared to death of it. The wreck didn't really didn't hurt the fourwheeler much though: it has a bent rim, a bent tie rod, and a small crease in the plastic. How much do you think it would cost to fix? It is completely stock and it still has the stock tires on it. He says that it has about 200 miles on it. Anyway he's asking $3500 for it. How much do you think it's worth? Thanks!

If that is all that is wrong with it, and you can fix it yourself, that is a really good deal if the machine has been maintained properly.

you can probably buy a used rim cheap, tierods are less than $20, tierod ends are $40, the crease can be taken out with a heat gun. Grab it!

Yamaha p/n 5LP-W2151-00-00 FRONT FENDER COMP (UR DEEP PURPLISH BLUE) (U49) $245.00
5LP-23831-00-00 ROD, TIE (U49) $7.56
5LP-25180-00-00 WHEEL COMP (U49) $190.58

Here is a list of parts that you state are bad. This does not include the front fender stickers. You and I know that you could get a set of wheels for the price of the Yamaha one listed above and still have money for stickers. $5000-450=4650-your wrench time. So I'd say it's worth about $4500,$4000 would be a good deal. I wish I had friends like this. The prices I listed are on the low end. If you're looking to fix and sell it's a good deal. If your looking to fix and keep, it's an excellent deal. You may be able to get better pricing than above, but it's from Yamaha of Troy and they usually have pretty good pricing.

For that $190 yamaha wants for the rim you can geta good set of itp or razr tires mounted on decent rims too, but yamaha rims are harder to bend they the aftermarket, but it is hard to spend 190 on one....I would also say that is a good deal on it, I have yet to find one that cheap!
