Team

I'm looking for general advice on setting up my Raptor for speedway type events, i'm on a budget so keep that in mind.

So far I have a durablue plus 5" in the back plus 1" off set ITP rear rims, these will be setup with a max in / max out stagger on the adjustable axle.

Rear end, I have a short shock from a GSXR 1100 road bike which with a few mods will drop in nicely. This has adjustable comp / rebound etc and a very stiff spring rate, feel nice in there. Concerned about using a rear end lowering link as the axle housing could easily smash into the battery box ???

Front end, initally blaster shocks to sit it low, opinions on lowering blocks / stock shocks like the CFM units which move the lower shock mount way out board ? vs durablue mounts that move the upper shock mount position ?? Don't want to buy short speedway shocks...........

More spring preload on the outer front shock ?, possibly flip the outer front rim for more offset ?

Big question: tyres, proper hoosier type tyres or something like worn turf tamers ??? or ???

Thanks

Kiwi
