...well, I need to get one and I don't have my manual here to look up the part #. I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction with the part #, how much to expect to pay, and where is the best place to order one from.

Thanks in advance for the help guys...

The Yamaha part number is 90890-01311-YM-08035
I just use my fingers to adjust them myself.
I'm sure motion pro has a tool also

I believe it is one of those pricey yamaha items my yam dealer didnt even carry, all it is a 3mm square end screw sitting inside an 8mm or 10mm lock nut, you can just use a needle nose plier to turn the set screw and a small box/open end wrench, it usually wants to move a bit as you tighten the lock nut but that's not too hard to deal with, save your money

I think the socket I bought was a Torx #E-5 (Snap-On for about $10). Not really necessary. Once you losen the lock nut you can hold it with your fingers or needle nose pliers.

MotionPro makes a great Tappet adjusting set. You can find it here. Along with many other great tools.
