I'm hearing 35 to 37 on chassis dynos at the wheels, it varies from machine on different days and different dynos. I'll find out the before and after pipe/airbox/jetting mods at the JP cycle open house on June 2.

I will agree with Moose and White. Those are pretty steady results.

Okay, then how's come everybody says the Raptor just plain anhhilates the new zuki, assuming the dyno runs are accurate, they are of similar power(although I imagine a Raptor makes more down low). ? And for god sakes, don't bother replying if your a Idiot, I don't wanna hear any slams, this is just a serious Q, Okay? Up until a few days ago I thought the Raptor was a 6 speed, hell, I even road one at a dealer and still thought so! (wasn't really paying attention, ) I am just curious what makes a Raptor supposedly SO much faster, if the numbers are this close. If you guys are meaning a 1/8 or 1/4 mile race or something when you say the zuki gets smoked, I could understand, as after a certain point its gonna be gearing as well as just plain power. I guess I just need to find a guy with a stock raptor (who I can stand to talk to j/k) and see for myself sometime, thanks

Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see how close they really are. Could be that the Suzukis just don't have the power everyone thinks they have, or maybe they're closer than we're hearing. Don't worry, soon there will be alot more Z400s out and about, then we'll know if they're a 400EX with reverse or Raptor competition.

Across about a 300 foot field my Raptor puts several bikelengths on my wife's 400EX pretty quickly. They are both 100% stock with about 60 hours on each machine.

Hmm, it sounds pretty good to me so far.. Might be one of those races I'd be able to win every now and then.. Ahh, heck it does matter much anyway, the closest thing to a Raptor I ride with is a Banshee. I don't even know anybody around here with a Raptor to compare to....
