I purchased a set of Dura Blue wheel spacers for my 02 raptor 1.5" on front and 2.5" for the rear. The only problem I had was the front ones didnt fit like the rear. They went on sloppy and when they were bolted up and I spun the wheel it was going up and down. So I thought I had them on backwards and switched them around and they didnt fit over the little ears that hold the rim in place so I tighten them down and they went into place and I still have the same problem?? I wonder if they sent me the wrong set because the rear went on fine and didnt have any movement when I set them against the hub like the rim. When I set the front ones on, I can take the spacer and move it in a circular motion and I dont think thats right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same front spacers and had the same problem. But once I got them on and got the nuts snug - I spun the wheel to see if it was out of round and then adjusted the wheel till I got it true...then tightened down the lug nuts REALLY tight! Haven't had a problem since with it coming out of round. I've even hit a few trees with the front tires because I wasn't used to the new width yet and still didn't have them knocked out of round. So I would say get the wheel spinning true then tighten the dog sh_t out of them and you'll be okay. I've had mine on now for over 3-4 months.

I definitely like the improvement that they made.

great, thanks. I was told I might hit a few things till I get used to them. I just didnt think that was right that they made them that way. So, to be correct, the flat side goes towards the hub right?

Thanks

Yes - flat side to the hub.

You are correct though as far as them not fitting right. Durablue needs to do something about it. It sure pissed me off too knowing I was puting something on my Raptoid that wasn't quite right...but they seem to work out okay now.

ok, thanks, it looks like I will be playing around with them for awhile before I can tighten them up. I am still going to give Dura Blue a call Monday morning and find out why they did this.

Thanks again for all the responses I have received and if anyone else has a solution to why this is happening please let me know. Maybe we should all give them a call about this irregular fit, I called them today but they are closed and will be open Monday morning. Their phone number is (949) 770-5533.

I called them when I was installing mine and the woman I talked to in Tech Support said that they had not heard of any complaints of this nature. I find that hard to believe unless I was the very first one to add this mod to my Raptor...and I think not!!

yea...when i bought my kill switch...i called my dealer to ask where they reccomended i ground the wires to, the told me they couldnt tell me this because it would void my warranty..i think some sales people just dont like spending the time to tell people the right way to do this...i dont know why i even called the dealer..i should have called pro design in the first place.

Thats sucks. Sould'nt be loose like that. Try finding some tubing just the right inside diameter and outside diameter to take up the slop. Just a suggestion, easier said than done I know.

Well, I just spoke with Dura Blue and they told me yes those are a pain to put on and I should by the EZ - Fit spacers that go on much better for 30.00 more and argued with me about why they couldnt just make them like the rear. I am just going to send these back and drill a new hole for a valve stem and plug the other one and invert the wheels to get the wheels to stick out further.

That company has no customer satisfaction at all. If I knew how they handled customer support, I would have never purchased them in the first place.

Does anyone know who else sells wheel spacers for a raptor? I will just send both pairs back if I can.
