Just to let anyone know that likes to drag there is a good place in Brookhaven Ms. Its called Mark's Track. I just got back from my first trip there and I had a great time. They had a bunch of haul butt banshees, and a triple 2stroke Polaris. Nice smooth track that looks like it hooks well. They ran ets as well as heads up racing. This is not some, sorry no offense meant to anyone, redneck event with two people with a flag and a stop watch its the real deal. If anyone wants to come give me a PM for directions and times. Oh and its only $7 to watch or ride so bring some friends along.

 

glad to see you made it back safely. got a few questions.... are wheelie bars allowed? how are the racers payed? is it 7$ to race as well? PM some directions or save time and just post them here. are you gonna race next time?

 

Ok from hwy 84 take hwy 583S, its 17 miles west of Moticello and east of Brookhaven. Now travel 5.8 milesand turn left between Enterprise School and the football feild. Go 3 more miles on that road and turn left on Pleasent Grove Rd. Travel 2.5 miles until you cross a concrete bridge and turn right on a dirt drive. This is the track. After you turn onto 583 it is marked with signs that say Marks Track.

Yes wheelie bars are allowed. There were only about three people running one last night, one was a lonestar framed T-Rex banshee.

I don't know what % it is broken into but it is 100% payback. I am sure each class get some percent of the 100.

As far as I know it is only $7 to race or watch. This means that with a 100% payback for the winners he only keeps spectator money so bring some friends.

Yeah I am going to go Sat after next and race. They run every other Sat.

I looked for you too and never saw a grey dodge. I sat on the same side as the booth, by the tree. I talked to the guys from La. I got some real good pictures of everyone, espicaly of that polaris. I will put them on my web site tommorow or Tuesday night. What was his time anyway? Seems I never got it.
