I see people getting zero preload or sag shocks and talk about alot of dune riding. What benefits would these have over no sag shocks other than width and center of gravity? Is there any down side to them?

What if you're a big guy (250 lbs) Any disadvantage to goin with zero preload?? Been wanting to know the answer to this for some time. After buying something isn't the time to find out!

scottd, as long as you get the shocks set up for your weight with the proper spring rates and valving, being a big guy is not a problem. In fact, you will probably see even more benefit than a lighter guy, since the stock suspension is definitely not set up for someone who is 250.
