Do stock 01 banshees have 1 or 2 airfilters? I looked at the dealership today,flipped up the seat and I only saw one. I didn't look under the first one though.

They only have one air filter. It does'nt filter air properly.....so an upgrade is needed (pro-flo or equivalent).

Will it void the warranty if I put a proflow or k&n?

The air filter simply sits in the air box and does'nt effectively seal out unfiltered air. Pro-flo with foam is what I would buy. I can't see why the warranty would be void if the Pro-flo was installed in a correct manner. You could ask your mechanic to be sure.

 

Hmm would my dealer sell proflow foam filters?

 

The pro-flo comes as a kit....Mounting bracket and filter. Your dealer should be able to get you one. If not, there are a ton of other places to buy them...www.rockymountainatv.com and motoman.com are a few.
