Hondapredator- good thing you have plenty of cash because you will need it. Figure on about 2000 for the Trinity basic 686 which runs on super unleaded or 3000 plus for the sparks which runs race fuel and fcr carbs. The sparks probably puts out a few more ponies than the Trinity. Either one are probably overkill for a mx track. I went with Trinity and had a qiuck turnaround. Curtis does all the work himself so the wait is very long, but you get what you pay for. After you get that done, invest in about 1600 dollars worth of shocks, and a 400 dollars adjustable axle. Throw in a misc 500 for addational needs, brake lines etc. Might as well go with a custom seat and graphics while you are spending the cash. My friend just took delivery of a custom build lonestar crf450 quad, he has less in that than i have in my raptor. It is a better mx quad. So since you have the cash, keep the raptor for the trails and dunes and buy a real mx quad. Custom built of course!! Don't cheap out with a dale cause it will not cut it in the long run.

well if your a high roller with plenty of cash you might as well get the 727 with carbs running on alky. Put a new transmision in it to stand the power. Get a new clutch and clutch basket and clutch. get a +5 axle and probally a lonestar +6 swingarm and some a arms. You want it to be stable with all the power. Throw turbo or NOS on it,That adds a lot of power. That should get you an awesome Raptor. Tell us how you do when you get it all done

There's nothing wrong with a dale. Why would you go and say something like that? Handmade in America, cant say that about your Raptor can you 14mins?

mx98racer- he is looking for a mx machine with a lot of hp. Can't get there with a dale yet. I also said there would be better choices than a raptor for his intended purpose. Dales are starting to pick there owners to death. I only have the weak tranny to deal with. lol

handmade in america and it is starting to show. leaking gas caps, puking oil,mis welded a-arms, lights that point upward, trannies that can't shift into nutreal while running, wheels that easily dent, cracked plastic, refurbed fx400's with new motors, and plenty more. I hope cannondale gets all the bugs ironed out and puts the quality of being built in america on a pedestal. But they are NOT THere yet. I wish they were. They are not the end all of all quads yet. You STILL have to build the PERFECT quad because it does not come off a assembly line yet. Cannon is the closest so far, but still has a long ways to go.

14mins- The Gas caps where threaded wrong, Thats fixed by a new one free.Oil puking happened to earlier models fixed by a free engine. You can fix the lights by taking the plastic off and loosening the bolt and point them where you want them. There's nothing wrong with the a-arms, the plastics dont crack. The wheels are itp what can you expect when you drive your rim into a rock? Cannondales do have the hp for MX. When I was watching the pro-am class at red bud, the cannondale got the holeshot over 450f's, 426's, 250r's and you trying to say it doesnt have enough hp?

Mx- All that i am really saying is cannondale thought they were building a race ready quad. They have to some point but as with everything the cdale owners are already changing the axles,shocks,a-arms etc. that came stock on the machine. These items are good enough for some but not all. So really find the platform you want and build from there.
