Does your "02 BLUE RAPTOR" go pretty fast in 6th gear?

a raptor does not have a sixth gear but if you are refering to fith gear the gear ratios are the same for fith gear oh i see what you are saying sorry i am still geating used to the raptor (only had it a week and my blaster had six gears)
but actually it is the strangest thing it goes backwards in sixth (just messing with ya)

Chet, I see you have checked out the new spiderman movie? Is that the sense that makes the front plastic cringe when the rider leaves the seat at speed?

garyc660R,

I haven't seen the new Spiderman movie. You won't believe this but I haven't been to a movie since the late 70's. The last two movies I saw was JAWS and STARS WARS. I just wait till they come out on TV. The nearest movie theater around here is about 35 miles away.

I guess the My wire problem web site worked. I called the utility company or the department concerned in Jan.02 and gave them www.raptor660r.org and told the gentleman to look at that and then call me back to discuss it. He never called back and about 6 weeks ago a tree cutting crew came through with this huge machine that looks like a giant lawnmower hooked onto a backhoe that can reach out and chew up trees. I understand why they did it in the area down the other part of the road because the trees down that part are huge and could fall into the wires. They stopped cutting right in the area that I had talked to the gentleman about.

It sure doesn't look like that picture in the wesite anymore though. All the tress are full of leaves and it has returned back to jungle status. In that area of our property we have a nice parking lot surrounded by thousands of trees and is very secluded. I mean if they would have cut under the line I would have got over it but it shows it doesn't hurt to ask. Especially when you back in the middle of nowhere.

I need to take a picture of that area again.

Chet

Well how about putting up the gear ratios of the '02 so we can see the differences side by side? I have found riding my son's Raptor that there are certain speeds out on the trail where there just doesn't seem to be a right gear. He has stock gearing with 22" Maxi Razrs, and it is geared really high, I think I have him talked into a smaller countershaft sprocket for our upcoming Paiute Trail Ride.
