i was looking at the stage 1 hot cam or the stage 2.how is the stage 1 cam does it give you alot of gain.i see that you can keep stock components with this one and the stage 2 needs a few upgrades.if anyone has information on these cams please reply.the cam will be for a raptor with e-series slip-on , jetted and proflow filter. Let me know what i have to change to install one of these. Thanks

It depends on where you want the power in the mid or top.

I would definatly change to better springs if you upgrade the cam.

Web cam makes a midrange cam 696/697. I have that one in my 686 kit. A friend also has that in his stock raptor. I have the upgraded valve springs, he does not. It is a good choice. Power everywhere and no big hit anywhere, rider friendly power. Check it out. Lots of choices out there. Mega cycle makes cams for the raptor also, give them a call.
