Raptor override tranny?

I have seen some banshees with override trannies, can you do that with a raptor?

Yes it can be done to almost any trans, but then you can forget trail riding. Your machine will be for drag racing only.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

How is that actualy done? I have seen it on Banshees as well. Don't you lose a gear or something?

The gears are cut back to help throw it in and out( from one to the next) The only problem with this is when you let off the gas it will drop out of gear. It is all or nothing, for drag racing only. I know this is very little info, but that's all I know. As soon as I found out it was going to end all other riding with my quad I stopped listening. Not much help, but I hope it helps a little[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
