is there anyway a blaster could beat i banshee?

I used to race banshees in glamis all the time when I had my blaster. I had a fmf pipe/silencer, uni filter, 28mm mikuni carb, port job, and some akive reeds. I could beat any stock banshee up any hill with paddles and filters, but once they got pipes I just couldnt keep up.

I've seen dyno charts for stock-bored blasters with port jobs and all typical two stroke air and exhaust mods, that had peak HP close to 40. A good bit more than a stock banshee, but then again do the same work to a banshee and get close to 50...

If I ever get the 490 in my blaster, it should run with most banshees. It is ported, head shaved, 41mm carb. If you want to keep the blaster motor, you can turn some horse out of it. I had a friend that built a 2mm stroker blaster. It was 200 class legal, but he raced in 250 pro. It won many races. At the time, he worked at FTZ so price wasn't a concern. He fitted a YZ125 reed cage on it, and had hours of time in port work. The exhaust was hand built and I believe he was running a 38mm TMX carb. The throttle response and acceleration was better than most banshees. This was one BAD blaster. You can get a blaster to run, but as the old saying goes, "Speed costs, how fast do you want to go?"

Dont even waste your time and money trying, If by some chance you did ever win after spending hundereds of dollars on mods, porting etc... He could start building up this Banshee! and you just put all that money money in something you cant back when you sell.
