Sanddan,
I used Sprocket specialist, with 12 tooth you will have more bottom end and easier to climb the dune hill then 13 or 14 tooth. Also You won't have the top end speed unless move up to 13 or 14 tooth all depend what kind of riding you want to do slow or med or fast riding.

For the chain I used EK 520SRX due to which made for 600cc or more. You have to make sure the chain brand is design to hold 600cc or more. Price is reasonable.

Everybody have their opinion what they like to have on their bike for the sprocket and chain.

I wouldn't used Sidewinder product at all. Price is way too high.

Check out The best, not the cheapest for a lot of great information about chains and sprockets. This is the brand used by most Baja racers, both dirt bikes and quads. They have a variety of sprocket materials available based on your budget. The owner is more or less the "sprocket guru".

A little off the topic, but I noticed you were from Molalla. I live out in Boring. If you're ever looking for someone local to head to the dunes with for a day, or go play in the woods somewhere, drop me a line. I've got a group email list (atv club) started for the local Oregon and Southern Washington Riders. Whenever someone is gonna ride, they post the email, and about 25 other guys will get the message. It's pretty cool, since we usually can get at least 4 guys to go ride on any given day. My email is in my profile.

Welcome! I have read a LOT of good info concerning the DID X-ring chain on the Raptor. Do a search under Sidewinder.....you will find many disgruntled owners. As long as you get steel sprockets from a reputable company, you should have long service out of them.
