raptor baffle?

hey can i take my baffle out of my raptor and if so would it make a difference? i am going to buy a trinity pipe but not for a while. and what other things can i do to it that are inexpensive and easy

Yes you can take it out & yes it will make a little diffrence.
The down side is it's a b!tch to get out!!

If you take it out or not remove the restrictors in the snorkle on the air box. This will require rejetting (get a Dynojet kit it has all the jets you'll need when you get your pipe also) This will show a big improvement as the restrictors take up about 25% of the intake.

What you can do for reasonable price is to get K/N air fliter, put bigger jets that way you may gain few more hp.
The one I saw the mag article of Dirtwheel that they increase the main jet up to 160/165 with the airbox mod and cut the flap in the snorkle. They claim increased up to 3 hp more.
