It is around 300 bucks, but will only fit 2000 on up models,something about a different u joint used on the newer ones being used.Why not make one for all models is beyond me.

Exactly what I thought,too, but I was told there is a part number difference in either the shaft or the u-joint being used from 2000 on up,according to Highlifter,so they are only selling it for those years.To be honest,I have not personally checked this out,just going by what I was told.Let me know what find out for sure,Airwolf.
